NBKC Bank Visual Brand + Marketing System
Challenge: NBKC Bank needed consistent, flexible design support across multiple departments, audiences, and marketing channels. What began as a part-time design opportunity became a full-time in-house role, with responsibility for supporting the brand across consumer banking, home loans, fintech, human resources, internal communications, and community initiatives.
Solution: As the bank’s sole in-house designer, I created a wide range of digital, print, and internal materials, including website updates, landing page mockups, pitch decks, email campaigns, banking brochures, loan officer flyers, branch materials, employee communications, charity event T-shirts, promotional products, and advertising. I also supported brand refresh work and collaborated with Measure Media’s development team to translate design concepts into functional website updates, providing Photoshop mockups, layout direction, and notes on page behavior for implementation in October CMS.
Results: This work helped NBKC maintain a consistent, recognizable brand presence across a broad range of departments and touchpoints while giving internal teams reliable design support for fast-moving marketing, sales, employee, and customer-facing needs.
